The temperatures are a little cooler these days but theres an accumulation of heat around us that is just hanging & you may find you heat up too quickly. This wanted to share a practice and some tips on how to take more care of ourselves and spirit during this season through working on our skin.
I will also be sharing some Traditional Chinese Medicine dietary guidance for the summer season. This particularly helps us to take care of the heart with foods like beet, grapes, cherries, goji berries etc.. making teas and incorporating these as certain recipes can support us so much.
In TCM, summer heat can easily decrease fluids in the body and agitate the Shen, so we will explore ways to support the body with cooling and calming foods, nourish the Blood, and protect and replenish Yin during this everlasting hot spell.
